Box Score Kalamazoo, Mich.: Finishing its first road campaign of the season, the DePauw women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Kalamazoo in overtime.
In the first half of regulation, the Hornets held the Tigers to just one shot on goal while tallying seven in DePauw's defensive half.
With the game still scoreless in the second half, the two teams were trading shots on goal, recording eight shots apiece.
Though the Tigers' late attempts didn't put away the game, a well-timed save by Reanna Stiehler in the 88th minute of regulation forced the game into overtime.
At 98:42, Destiny Garcia of Kalamazoo managed to break free of the DePauw backline and score the winning goal.
The Tigers' next game is Wednesday, September 8, at 5 pm EDT against Franklin College at Reavis Stadium.
