Box Score Oberlin, Ohio- The DePauw women's soccer team picked up its first North Coast Athletic Conference loss after falling to Oberlin College 1-2 on the road.
The Tigers played catchup for most of the first half after the Yeowomen scored in the 12th minute of play. DePauw and Oberlin played pretty evenly in the first half, with each team tallying five shots and two corners.
In the 60th minute, the Tigers knotted up the game at one apiece after Sarah Bird set up Sydney Calisto for her second goal of the season.
Though the Tigers outshot the Yeowomen 12 to 6 in the second half, Oberlin managed to put one more goal in, just four minutes after DePauw tied the game.
DePauw moves to 0-1 in NCAC play and will be back at Reavis Stadium on Saturday, October 2, for Old Gold Weekend and Senior Day. The Tigers will face The College of Wooster at 2:30 pm EDT.
