Tigers Fall to Quakers

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw dropped to 7-4 on the season after dropping a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-18) match to visiting Earlham. The Quakers improved to 9-4.

Jessica Levy and Olivia Karwin each had six kills for the Tigers, while four different Quakers had double-digit totals led by Olivia Kyrk with 14. Grace Filbrun totaled 10 assists for the Tigers to Erin Wagner's 43 for Earlham.

Karwin led the DePauw defensive effort with 11 digs, while Jennifer Shamel paced Earlham with 20. Katie Gansle, Lauren Ridgway and Ashley Haas each had two block assists for DePauw with Kyrk pacing Earlham with three.

Earlham outhit DePauw, .288-.074 and held a 53-25 edge in kills.

DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play when it hosts Hiram on Saturday, September 25, at 1 p.m.
