Box Score Memphis, Tenn.: The DePauw women's soccer team tied the Rhodes College Lynx 2-2 on day one of the Women's Soccer Challenge Tournament.
All four goals of the matchup were recorded in the first half, with the Lynx striking first in the 19th minute of play. However, an unassisted goal by Annalise Grammel would knot the game up at one goal apiece in the 27th minute.
DePauw's second goal of the game came just three minutes later when Grammel found Sydney Calisto, giving the Tigers a 2-1 lead.
Not willing to be put away easily, Rhodes responded with an unassisted goal of its own to tie the game at two.
Though neither team managed to put in another goal across the remaining 65 minutes played, the Tigers finished the night outshooting the Lynx 14 to 7.
The Tigers are back in action on Sunday, September 19, facing WashU at 2 pm CDT.
