Box Score Mequon, Wis.: The DePauw University Field Hockey team lost 1-0 to the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons on the road.
The Tigers and the Falcons were neck and neck throughout the first and second halves of the game.
Despite Concordia Wisconsin outshooting DePauw in the first three quarters, the Tigers did manage to put up seven shots of their own in an aggressive fourth-quarter effort to get back in the game.
In goal for DePauw, Scarlett Oaks allowed just one goal and finished the game with a total of seven saves for the day.
Senior defenders Maria Hewitt and Maddie DeAscentis also kept the Falcons from running up the score with multiple defensive stops and a save each.
The Tigers are back at home on Saturday, September 18, facing Allegheny at noon.
