Delaware, Ohio- Taking home three individual championships, DePauw finished sixth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships with 70.50 points. Wabash won with 203, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (137), Denison (118), Wittenberg (99), and Allegheny (94).
Leading the Tigers with first-place finishes on Thursday were Zane Williams, who finished the 10,000-meter run in 32:37.12, Bailey Scott, who earned the 3,000-meter steeplechase title (9:38.43), and Ford Baker, who finished with a time of 15:13.68 in the 5,000-meter run.
Also earning all-conference honors with third-place finishes were Michael Ocasek in the 1,500 (3:58.28), Callaway Bird, who ran the 800 in 1:56.68, and Garrett Elkins in the high jump with a final jump of 1.82 meters tying with Wooster's Richie Pajak.
In the 10,000-meter run, Max Carroll (33:29.12) and Trevor Hoftiezer (33:59.42) finished in sixth and eighth place, respectively. In the 3,000 steeplechase, Thomas Brelage took fourth with a time of 10:01.34. Henry Streib earned eighth-place in the 1,500-meter run (4:09.08), while Scott (1:57.55) and Ocasek (2:01.06) took fifth and eighth, respectively, in the 800-meter run.
