Box Score 2 Greencastle, Ind. - Fifth-ranked DePauw extended its win streak to 15 with a doubleheader sweep of visiting Illinois Wesleyan by scores of 5-2 and 4-2. The Tigers improved to 31-2 for the 10th 30-win season in program history, while the Titans dropped to 24-14.
DePauw jumped out in front early in the opener as Drew Bratcher hit a two-out, solo homer in the first and Skylar Barnett also hit a solo shot in the second. Following Barnett's homer, Kate Geary singled and stole second before Kaylyn Linder singled Geary to third and stole second. Jade Mejia Wick followed with a two-run single to center to make it 4-0.
The Titans' Madison Moore led off the third with a double and Hannah Heraty doubled her home. Colleen Palczynski walked before Hayley Earl advanced them with a grounder. Toni Tortorella then singled home Heraty.
Bratcher led off the bottom of the third with a double and pinch-runner Olivia Jackson advanced to third on a passed ball before scoring on Becca St. Germain's sacrifice fly.
Bratcher and Kate Geary each had two of DePauw's seven hits, while eight different Titans collected one hit apiece.
Annika Garwood improved to 5-2 after allowing just one hit over the final three innings. Kadie Monk dropped to 4-4.
In the nightcap, the teams fought through four scoreless innings with each team totaling just one hit over that time.
Bratcher led off the bottom of the fifth with a homer to left center before St. Germain singled. Pinch-runner Emma Konrad moved to third after Alyssa Anderson grounded out. Abby Pyburn was then hit by a pitch and Lily Jennings delivered a two-run double to left center. Geary made it 4-0 with a double to left center.
Illinois Wesleyan's only runs of the game came in the seventh as Palczynski led off with a single and Hayley Earl followed with a homer. After Tortorella walked, Cami Henry struck out the final three batters, each looking.

Henry improved to 17-0 and struck out 12 along the way. Before allowing the runs in the seventh, Henry's scoreless innings streak reached 37 1/3 innings and her stretch without allowing an earned run ended at 46 innings. Nina Mardjetko dropped to 9-4.
DePauw travels to Rose-Hulman on Wednesday, May 5, for a 7 p.m. contest.
