Greencastle, Ind. - Three Tigers earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Central Region honors as catcher Becca St. Germain (Sr., Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) and pitcher Cami Henry (Jr., Camby, Ind./Mooresville) were selected to the first team and outfielder Abby Pyburn (So., Antioch, Ill./Antioch) was chosen to the second team in voting by the region's coaches.
St. Germain is hitting .417 on the season and leads the Tigers with 35 hits, 12 doubles and 30 runs batted in. She slugged .667 and also has thrown out six opposing runners attempting to steal.
Henry is 18-0 in the circle with a 0.82 earned run average, has recorded five shutouts and shares the team lead with three saves. In 110 2/3 innings, Henry, a first team all-region at-large choice in 2019, has struck out 168 and walked just 24 with opposing hitters batting only .136 against her. She ranks in the top 10 in NCAA Division III in five statistical categories.
Pyburn is batting .488 on the campaign and leads the squad with 24 runs scored and 24 stolen bases.
DePauw finished the regular season with a 34-2 overall record including a 12-0 mark in North Coast Athletic Conference West Division contests. The Tigers swept Hiram, 2-0, in the best-of-three series last week to win the NCAC championship and earn a seventh-straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship and 12th overall. The Tigers will learn their opening-game opponent and regional site during this afternoon's 1 p.m. selection show on NCAA.com.
