Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw University men's outdoor track and field team finished fourth in the DePauw Quad 2.
With a total of 120.50 points, the Tigers tallied two individual first-place finishes, five second-place finishes, and two third-place finishes.
The Tigers finished second in the 4x100 meter relay, with Ayo Laleye, Evan Manges, Briggs Cecil, and Rickey Alsum finishing in 43.99 seconds. In the 4x400 meter relay, Cecil, Callaway Bird, Henry Streib, and Michael Ocasek took third with the time of 3:34.60.
Ocasek would finish the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.26 to take first, followed closely by teammate Bailey Scott (1:59.21), who took second. In the 1,500-meter run, Ford Baker finished in third with a time of 4:04.23. The Tigers swept the top six spots in the 10,000-meter run, with Zane Williams taking first (32.33.26), Max Carroll finishing second (33:22.38), and Trevor Hoftiezer taking third with a time of 33:26.19.
In the field events, Garrett Elkins finished second in the high jump with a final height of 1.80m. Luke Smith would take second in the long jump with 6.16m, and in the triple jump, Joshua Kaluwasha pulled in another second-place finish with a jump of 12.37m.
The Tigers compete in the Hillsdale College Gina Relay on Thursday, April 22.
