Crawfordsville, Ind.- The DePauw University women's outdoor track and field team finished first in the Huntsman Family Invitational with a total of 113 points.
The Tigers finished the invitational with a total of 17 individual top-three finishes across 12 different events.
Leading the Tigers in first-place finishes was Erin Pasch, who took first in the 200-meter dash (26.33), the 100-meter hurdles (15.34), and in shot put with a final distance of 11.22m. Pasch would also take second in high jump with a jump of 1.53m.
Seelye Stoffregen joined Pasch in both the 200-meter dash (27.42) and the 100-meter hurdles (17.25), taking second and third place, respectively. In the 100 meter dash, Alexis Cagan finished third with a time of 13.42.
Also taking first in today's meet was Charlotte Borland in the 400-meter dash (1:00.35) and Jenny Noll in the 3000-meter steeplechase (12:31.24).
Just behind Noll in the 3000-meter steeplechase was Jess Gaumer, who finished second with a time of 13:54.28.
The Tigers found success across the distance and mid-distance events with multiple top-three finishes. Rachel DeLancey (2:28.61) and Kate Hennessey (2:29.56) finished second and third, respectively, in the 800-meter run. In the 1500 meter run, Lannea Allen took second with a time of 5:14.91, while Rachel Cook (20:15.58) and Maddie Perry (20:50.40) finished second and third respectively in the 5000-meter run.
The 4 x 100 relay with Grace Truax, Borland, Cagan, and Stoffregen took first, finishing with a time of 52.38. The 4 x 400 relay would also take first (4:21.77) with Annalise Grammel, Cagan, Hennessey, and Borland.
In the field events, Mady Altman earned a second-place finish in the Javelin throw (75-09), while teammate Reanna Stiehler finished third in the Hammer throw (34.04m).
The Tigers' next meet is Saturday, April 17, at Blackstock Stadium for the DePauw Quad #2.
