Box Score 2 Greencastle, Ind. - Ninth-ranked DePauw wrapped up a second consecutive 4-0 weekend with a Sunday sweep of Buena Vista (3-1) and Nebraska Wesleyan (1-0). The Tigers are now 8-0 on the season.
Against Buena Vista, Paige Price gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the fourth. Goose Moore then followed with a walk and stole second before Kaylyn Linder drove her in with a single. The Tigers added a third run in the fifth as Grace Smith led off with a double and moved to third on Price's single. A wild throw to second as Price attempted a steal, allowed Smith to score and make it 3-0.
Buena Vista's lone run came in the fourth as Carlee Guyett led off with a walk and stole second and third before McKynze Hansen plated him with a single.
Price had two of DePauw's six hits, while five different Buena Vista players collected one each.
Cami Henry improved to 4-0 after allowing just one hit over the final 3 1/3 innings. Ashtyn Miller dropped to 3-1.
Against, Nebraska Wesleyan, Riley Magoon, Kersten Brayton and Henry combined on the shutout and the Tigers' lone run came in the third. Kelsey Bernhard led off the inning with a singlie to left and moved to second on an error. She advanced to third on a grounder and scored on Emma Konrad's single to short.
DePauw travels to Millikin on Sunday, March 14, for a doubleheader.
