Delaware, Ohio- Despite forcing seven errors in the final set, the DePauw University volleyball team lost to Ohio Wesleyan University in three sets (22-25, 11-25, 19-25) on the road.

The Tigers opened the match against the Battling Bishops with a tightly contested 22-25 first set, finishing with 10 kills and just one error for an attacking percentage of .300. 

Unfortunately for DePauw, Ohio Wesleyan would jump to an early lead in the second set and did not let up. The Battling Bishops held the Tigers to just five kills, forced eight errors, and won the set 25-11, going up 2 sets to none.

In the third set, DePauw kept it close at the start, taking a 6-3 lead; however, Ohio Wesleyan would record 20 kills for the set, quickly taking back the lead and winning the final set 25-19.

The Tigers are back on the road on Sunday, March 28, at Wittenberg, with a match start time of 1 pm EDT.
