Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Ford Baker (So., Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) has been selected as North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Distance/Middle Distance Athlete of the Week for his performance in last Saturday's triangular meet against Manchester and Wabash.

Baker won the 3,000 meters in a school-record time of 8:29.39 which eclipsed the mark of 8:33.16 by Graham Wellman on February 12, 2005.

The honor is his third of the season as he earned the distinction on February 8 and February 22.
