Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's track and field team finished second in the DePauw Triangular #4 against Manchester and Wabash.
The Tigers recorded three first-place finishes, including Ford Baker's school record-breaking 3000-meter run, finishing with a time of 8:29.39.
Other individual first-place winners include Rickey Alsum, who ran the 60-meter dash in 7.35 seconds, and Bailey Scott ran a 4:27.18 in the men's mile run.
DePauw's Callaway Bird and Jack Rutstein would complete the top three sweep of the mile run with the times of 4:28.38 and 4:36.00, respectively.
Michael Ocasek would take second in the 3000-meter run (8.38.87), while Aaron Worley (16:19.05) and Miles Main (16:28.35) finished second and third in the men's 5000-meter run.
The Tigers would tally two more second-place finishes, one in the 4 x 400-meter relay with Marino Dolph, Henry Streib, Rutstein, and Bird ( 3:43.56), the other in the high jump with Garrett Elkins jumping 1.80 m.
DePauw finished the meet with 39 points and will be competing again on Saturday, March 20at Rose-Hulman Early Bird Meet at 12 pm EST.
