Terre Haute, Ind.-The DePauw University women's swimming and diving team beat Rose-Hulman for a second time this season, with a final meet score of 229-75.
The Tigers finished the meet with a total of 15 first-place finishes and swept the top three spots in eight events.
DePauw would open the meet, finishing in first and second place in the 200 medley relay. Hailey Olsen, Molly Ruggles, Ali Tallen, and Sammie Waples took first with a time of 1:52.98. Coming in second, Mia Strong, Nuna Bamatraf, Marisol Karmel, and Katherine Kempf would finish with a time of 1:59.17.
Two Tigers won two individual events apiece, Rachel Graves (2:16.35) in the 200-yard IM and the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.85), as well as Waples (24.82) in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.15).
Eight more DePauw swimmers earned first-place finishes, including Maddie Dixon (5:23.68) in the 500-yard freestyle, Alyssa Koch (5:04.76) in the 400-yard IM, Mei-Li Minnich (1:01.42) in the 100-yard Butterfly, Grace Hilton (1:04.14) in the 100-yard backstroke, Ruggles (1:02.79) in the 100-yard IM, Hailey Olsen (2:11.34) in the 200-yard backstroke, Ashley Dapore (56.02) in the 100-yard freestyle, and Tallen (2:17.62) in the 200-yard butterfly.
Katherine Douglas took first place in the 1 meter with a final score of 253.73 off 11 dives.
The Tigers would finish strong to close out the meet, taking first and second place once again in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The relay of Maggie Perry, Graves, Waples, and Dapore earned first place with a time of 3:44.83. The second-place relay of Cayla Williams, Kempf, Karmel, and Kaitlyn Gardner finished with a time of 4:00.26.
The Tigers travel back to Greencastle to host Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, February 27 at 2 pm EST.
