Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw women's track and field team finish second, with 64 total points, in its triangular against Centre College and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
The Tigers pulled in seven individual first-place finishes and a first-place finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay with Annalise Grammel, Seelye Stoffregen, Grace Truax, and Charlotte Borland.
Borland earned three more individual first-place finishes in the 60-meter dash (8.26), the 200-meter dash (27.40), and the long jump (4.78 m).
Also placing in the long jump was teammate Erin Pasch, who jumped 4.53 for third place. Pasch would also take first in the 60-meter hurdle with a time of 9.91.
In the distance events, seven different runners finished in the top three. Grammel (2:28.32) and Rachel DeLancey (2:29.62) finished first and second, respectively, in the 800-meter run.
Jenny Noll (5:38.93) and Lannea Allen (5:43.80) would take second and third respectively in the mile run, while Meredith Sierpina (11:16.24) and Madalyn Sailors (11:47.59) had a similar result in the 3000-meter run. Rounding out the long-distance events, Rachel Cook took first in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19:46.9.
Reanna Stiehler earned first place in shot put with a throw of 9.83m and second place in the weight throw (11.70m). Emma Stemen took second in pole vault with a final height of 2.95m.
The Tigers are back at home Saturday, February 27, at noon against Manchester.
