Granville, Ohio- The #14 DePauw University men's basketball team recorded its first loss after falling to the Denison University Big Red 84-66 on the road.

Throughout the first half, the Tigers and the Big Red traded baskets, with neither team able to pull away with the lead.

DePauw would finish the half shooting 58.3% from behind the arc while holding Denison to just five threes in the half. 

With the game tied 34-34 at halftime, it was anyone's game in the second half of play. Unfortunately for the Tigers, the Big Red would take a quick lead in the opening minutes of the half and hold that lead throughout the rest of the game. 

Dension held DePauw to just 12 field goals and forced 10 of the Tigers 15 turnovers in the second half, allowing the Big Red to grow its lead to double digits late in regulation.

The Big Red's aggressive defense and dominance in the paint played a significant role in the Tigers' first loss of the season.
