Kalamazoo, Mich.: The DePauw women's swimming and diving team finished on top at the Kalamazoo Quad with 1043.5 points.
The Tigers completed the two-day quad with four top-three relay finishes and 21 individual top-three finishes.
Dominating early, the Tigers swept the 50-yard Free with Maggie Perry earning first with a time of 24.81, followed closely by Sammie Waples (24.87) and Claire Sweetwood (24.95). Waples, Sweetwood, and Perry would also sweep the 100-yard Free with the times of 54.61, 55.09, and 55.14, respectively.
Perry would go on to also earn second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.14). Other individual runners-up include Tara Holder, who came in second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.90), Elise Umbach, who finished the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.85. Molly Ruggles was runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.97), and in the 1650-yard freestyle, Megan Mackenzie finished with a time of 18:33.18. Mia Hagenauer rounded out the second-place finishers after swimming the 200-yard butterfly in 2:23.02.
DePauw found success across various relay events, taking first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with Waples, Perry, Sweetwood, and Tarah Lang (1:38.91). The Tigers would close out the night with two more second-place relay finishes, the first in the 200-yard medley relay with Ruggles, Umbach, Perry, and Waples (1:51.35) second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with Perry, Waples, Holder, and Sweetwood.
The Tigers' next meet is the three-day Pebworth Invitational at Wabash College, spanning from Friday, November 19 to Sunday, November 21.
