Tigers Shutout by Quakers

Richmond, Ind.- The DePauw University field hockey team fell to the Earlham College Quakers 0-1 after three and a half hard-fought quarters.

DePauw managed to hold the Quakers to eight shots on goal and allowed only four corners across regulation.

The class of 2022 finished the 2021 season with 10 of the 16 total goals between six different players. Tied for first in goals were senior midfielder Maddie DeAscentis and junior midfielder Allison Quackenbush with four goals apiece. 

Amy Apfelbaum, Sarah Goff, Maria Hewitt, and Eva Nicholson scored two goals to round out the total.

The senior class had a hand in all 10 of this season's assists, with DeAscentis and Christina Bourantas leading the team with three apiece.

In goal, senior goalkeeper Allie Duranceau finished the season with a save percentage of .818 across six games.

The Tigers wrap up their season with an overall record of 5-11 and 3-5 in NCAC play.
