Granville, Ohio- The DePauw University field hockey team was shutout by the Denison University Big Red in its 0-3 loss on the road.

In the first two minutes of regulation the Big Red jumped to an early 0-1 lead, after Ana Ortiz-DeRosa gathered a hard pass outside of the circle and scored. 

By the end of the first half the Tigers were down by two goals, despite going shot for shot with Denison and tallying four corners to the Big Red's two.

DePauw would give up the third and final goal in the 54th-minute of play when Denison's Cary Mauck rebounded her own shot and scored to put the Big Red up by three.

The Tigers final game is on Wednesday, October 27, at Earlham College at 7 pm EDT.
