Tigers Fall to Fighting Scots

Wooster, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 8-7 overall and 1-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 26-24) loss at Wooster. The fighting Scots improved to 12-5 overall and 1-1 in the NCAC.

Wooster outhit the Tigers, .237-.133 and had 45 kills to the Tigers' 29. Katie Gansle paced DePauw with seven kills, while Olivia Karwin assisted on 24. Hayley Nash led Wooster with 13 kills and Syd Case had 38 assists.

Karwin had three of DePauw's seven aces, while Sydney Fitzcharles led the Fighting Scots with five of their eight. Jenna Purichia recorded a match-high 21 digs and Ashley Haas totaled four blocks.

DePauw hosts Kenyon on Saturday, October 9, at 1 p.m.
