Greencastle, Ind. -The DePauw women's soccer team lost to the Denison University Big Red 0-1 at home.

In the first half of play, the Big Red put pressure on the Tigers, recording six shots while blanking DePauw on the other end.

Despite the shot differential in the first half, the Tigers defense only allowed one corner for the half and two shots on target.

In the second half, DePauw and Denison traded shots on both attacking ends; however, in the 69th-minute of play, the Big Red rebounded a saved shot by Emma St.John, going up by one.

Though the Tigers got some good looks late in the second half, the Big Red's backline remained quick and efficiently cleared all of DePauw's attempts on goal.

The Tigers move to 1-3-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play and travel to Ohio Wesleyan University on Wednesday, October 20, to play the Battling Bishops at 6 pm EDT.
