Tigers Drop Non-Conference Match to Big Blue

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw dropped to 9-8 on the season following a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) loss to Millikin on Senior Day in Neal Fieldhouse. The Big Blue improved to 13-6 on the year.

Millikin outhit DePauw, .144-.050, while the Big Blue held a 31-23 edge in kills. Sarah Herman and Katie Gansle each recorded six kills for the Tigers, with Tori Stuart pacing Millikin with 11. Grace Filbrun led DePauw with 10 assists with Olivia Grbavac finishing with a match-high 17 for Millikin.

Jenna Purichia paced the Tigers with three of the team's four aces and Anna Deutschmann had four of the Big Blue's 11. Purichia led with 15 digs and Ashley Haas totaled three blocks. Julianna Vassallo had 11 digs for Millkikin with Sophia Gibbs recording a team-high three blocks.

DePauw returns to North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday, October 16, with a 1 p.m. match at Oberlin.
