Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw men's basketball team returns to the hardwood this afternoon at 3 p.m. as it hosts Greenville University in the Tigers' first contest of the 2020-21 season. DePauw returns 10 letterwinners including starters at four of the five positions from last year's 14-12 team. Senior forward Nolan Ginther (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) was a second team all-North Coast Athletic Conference performer last year after earning honorable mention his sophomore campaign. Ginther paced the Tigers last season with 14.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Senior guard Nick Felke (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) was an honorable mention all-conference pick last year after scoring 14.0 points per contest and leading the squad with 3.8 assists and nearly two 3-pointers per contest.

Senior forward Josh Hall (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) rounds out the double-digit returning scorers after averaging 11.2 points per outing in a season that was shortended due to injury in early January. Senior forward Aaron Shank (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and sophomore guard Elijah Hales (Topeka, Ind./Westview) also are back as starters from last season. This year's team also features six seniors with guards Ken Decker (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) and Matthew Godfrey (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) joining the four returning starters.

Greenville is 0-3 after losses to three NCAA Division I opponents in late November and early December. The Panthers, who run the "system", average 100.0 points per game, while allowing 162.7. Kenneth Cooley leads the way with 20.3 points, followed by Romello Ball (11.7) and Travis Dickey (10.7).

The season is Bill Fenlon's 29th as the Tigers' head coach and his 35th overall including stops at Sewanee, Rose-Hulman and Southwestern prior to coming to DePauw in the spring of 1992. His teams have posted a 564-350 overall record, while his DePauw squads are 457-281.

I can receive a top notch education while competing at a high athletic level. The connections I will make at DePauw as well as being in the Management Fellows program were also very important factors as to why I chose DePauw.
