Tigers Finish Sixth at NCAC Championships

Granville, Ohio - Paced by three scorers in the 3,000 meters, DePauw totaled 48.125 points and finished sixth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. Wabash won with 207.791 points and Ohio Wesleyan was second with 115.625.

Ford Baker paced the Tigers in the 3,000 after finishing second (8:42.77) with Zane Williams in third (8:51.75) and Kyle Munz in sixth (8:58.37).

Callaway Bird was third in the 800 meters (1:59.17) with Michael Ocasek placing fourth in the mile (4:24.84) and Cole Martin sixth (4:26.32). Evan Manges tied for eighth in the high jump at 1.76 meters.

The Tigers' 4x400 relay of Briggs Cecil, Luke Patty, Bird and Ocasek was eighth in 3:33.11.

The top three finishers in each event earned all-conference honors.
