Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw totaled 87 points and finished third at the DePauw Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 132 and Trine was second with 98.5.
DePauw collected 19 points in the 3,000 meters as four Tigers scored led by Zane Williams in second (8:41.76). Ford Baker was fourth (8:48.89) followed by Cole Martin in fifth (8:55.45) and Kyle Munz in seventh (9:05.61).
Three Tigers scored in the 5,000 meters led by Miles Main in second (15:54.63), Aaron Worley in third (15:55.36) and Trevor Hoftiezer in seventh (16:15.61).
Michael Ocasek was also a second-place finisher in the 800 meters in 1:58.25 with Callaway Bird third in 2:00.09. Luke Patty placed third in the 400 meters (52.75) and fifth in the 200 meters (23.76) with Cecil Briggs fourth in the 400 meters (52.98).
Spencer Golde (2:51.09) and Christian Smith (2:57.15) were fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 1,000 meters while Luke Smith was seventh in the long jump (5.84m/19-2) and Lucas Taylor eighth in the weight throw (13.95m/45-9.25).
The Tigers' distance medley relay was second in 11:06.07, while the 4x400 relay placed fourth in 3:41.51.
DePauw competes in the Wittenberg Invitational on Feb. 22.
