Terre Haute, Ind. - In the opening meet of the indoor track and field season, DePauw totaled 11 points and finished fifth at the Friday Night Spikes Opener at Rose-Hulman. WashU won with 226 points and Rose-Hulman was second with 35.
A pair of Tigers scored in the mile run as Ford Baker was fifth (4:28.74) and Cole Martin sixth (4:30.73).
Jordan Dolph finished fifth in both the high jump (1.65m/5-0.75) and the long jump (5.83m/19-1.5).
Also finishing fifth were Lucas Taylor in the weight throw (13/61m/44-8) and Briggs Cecil in the 400 meters (54.31).
DePauw returns to action at Rose-Hulman's Engineer Invitational on January 31.
