DePauw Opens Weekend with Win over Rose-Hulman

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw took firsts in 11 events on the way to a 150-76 win over Rose-Hulman at the Erdmann Natatorium. The Tigers moved to 3-1 with the win and host Hillsdale tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Rachel Graves was a double winner in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.48) and the 200 individual medley (2:17.53/exhibition swim) as was Sammie Waples in the 50 free (24.76) and the 100 free (55.24). After winning the 1,000 free (11:27.83), Ali Tallen, swimming exhibtion, won the 100 butterfly (1:00.29).

Also collecting wins were Mollie Ruggles (100 backstroke; 1:01.39), Maddie Dixon (100 breaststroke; 1:14.84), Emily Kaiser (200 butterfly; 2:27.15), Kaitlyn Gardner (200 back; 2;25.98) and Emily Thompson (200 breast; 2:40.75).

DePauw's 200 medley relay of Allison Lund, Waples, Ruggles and Graves opened the meet with a win in 1:52.37 and the 400 free relay of Waples, Lund, Ashley Dapore and Tallen swam exhibition in 3:51.94.
