DePauw Finishes Fifth at NCAC Championships

Gambier, Ohio - Paced by Kaitlyn Daanen's all-conference performance in the 400 meters, DePauw finished with 44 points and in sixth place at the North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Oberlin won with 211 points and Ohio Wesleyan was second with 160.

Daanen was second in the 400 meters in 59.20 seconds to lead DePauw's Saturday performances. Kate Hennessey was fourth in the 800 (2:20.53) as was Emily Wilson in the high jump (1.54m).

Three Tigers scored in the 1,500 meters with Erika Marchant placing sixth (4:53.62), Jenny Noll finishing seventh (4:55.58) and Natalie Gruszka eighth (4:56.34).

DePauw's 4 x 100 relay of Charlotte Borland, Sophia Beresheim, Erin Pasch and Daanen was seventh in 52.72 seconds, while the 4 x 400 relay of Gruszka, Hennessey, Beresheim and Daanen was sixth in 4:13.84.
