Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Greencastle, Ind. - With a 6-0 win over Kenyon and a 1-0 victory over Denison, 18th-ranked DePauw advanced to tomorrow's championship game of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. The Tigers return to the diamond at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow to face the winner of the 11 a.m. battle between Denison and Wooster in the double-elimination tournament.

In the Kenyon game, the Tigers took a 2-0 lead in the second as Meghan Gonzalez led off with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch then to third on Jade Mejia Wick's grounder and scored on Becca St. Germain's single. St. Germain later scored on Sidney Holler's ground out.

DePauw made it 3-0 in the third as Kate Geary led off by being hit by a pitch and Abey Bass followed with a single. A double steal followed and an error on the play allowed Geary to score.

Caleigh Cramer delivered a leadoff pinch-hit double in the fifth and Geary re-entered on the base paths before Bass singled her home and, following an error on an attempt to throw her out at second, came around to score.

Katerina Kilgore led off the sixth with a pinch-hit single before Geary singled her to second and pinch-hitter Alyssa Nowak plated her with a single.

Bass and Gonzalez each had two of DePauw's 11 hits as nine Tigers collected hits. Three Ladies had one hit apiece.

Riley Magoon improved to 7-0 after allowing just one hit with four strikeouts and no walks before Devin Pieper pitched two innings of scoreless relief. Emily Pater dropped to 13-7.

In the Denison game, the lone run came in the fourth as Kaylyn Linder led off with a single and moved to second on Bass' base hit. Gonzalez advanced both runners with a sacrifice bunt and Holler drove in Linder with a grounder to second.

Four different Tigers had one hit apiece, while Lindsey Clemson had two of the Big Red's four hits.

Cami Henry improved to 16-6 with the four-hit shutout that included five strikeouts and no walks. Colleen Hoffman dropped to 11-5.
