Tigers Finish Fifth at DePauw Invitational

Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by four top-three finishes, DePauw totaled 65 points and finished fifth at the DePauw Outdoor Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 192 points and Wabash was second with 105.

Kyle Munz picked up the Tigers' lone win as he crossed first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:54.65. Chris Bailey was eighth in the event in 10:54.75.

Luke Patty scored in a pair of events as he was third in the 400 meters (50.22) and fifth in the 200 meters (22.48). Christian Bradford was sixth in the 400 (50.90).

Tyler Nemeth turned in a second-place showing in the pole vault (4.30m/14-1.25), while Luke Smith was third in the long jump (6.56m/21-6.25).

DePauw picked up 11 points in the 5,000 meters led by Zach Batt in fourth (15:24.68), Aaron Worley in seventh (15:59.71), Spencer Miller in eighth (16:00.24) and Miles Main in ninth (16:19.34).

Finishing sixth were Callaway Bird in the 800 meters (1:58.29) and Satchel Oskins in the 110 hurdles (17.03), while Chase Wright was eighth in the 100 meters (11.61).

The Tigers' 4x100 relay was fourth in 43.55 and the 4x400 relay placed fifth (3:44.94).

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, April 13, when it hosts the Indiana D3 Invitational.
