DePauw Places Fifth at Indiana Division III Championships; Batt and Christian Take Titles

Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by firsts from Zach Batt and Paul Christian, DePauw totaled 56 points and finished fifth at the Indiana Division III Championships at Blackstock Stadium. Wabash won with 249.5 points and Rose-Hulman was second with 179.

Batt won the 1,500 meters in a meet record 3:55.96, while Christian took first in the 5,000 meters in a meet record of 15:00.10.

The Tigers totaled 11 points in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as Spencer Miller was eighth (9:45.28) and Kyle Munz sixth (9:55.29). Three Tigers scored in the 10,000 as Aaron Worley was fourth (33:07.75) followed by Zane Williams in sixth (33:54.57) and Miles Main in seventh (33:56.92).

Christian Bradford was fourth in the 400 meters (50.50) with Luke Patty placing fifth in the 200 (22.50).

The Tigers' 4x400 relay was third in 3:25.01.

DePauw returns to action at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet on Friday, April 19 at 4:30 p.m.
