Second-Place DMR Finish Highlights Tigers' Opening Day

Wooster, Ohio - DePauw opened North Coast Athletic Conference Championships competition today and is in eighth-place with eight total points.

The Tigers' distance medley relay of Erika Marchant, Kate Hennessey, Natalie Gruszka and Jenny Noll did all the scoring after finishing second in 12:49.88.

Also qualifying for Saturday's finals were Kaitlyn Daanen in the 200 meters after placing seventh in prelims at 27.27 seconds and Kate Hennessey in the 800 meters in sixth in 2:23.31.
