DePauw's Season Comes to Close in NCAC Semfinals

Wooster, Ohio - DePauw shot a season-low 29 percent from the floor and bowed out of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament following a 73-52 semifinal loss to top-seed Wooster. The Tigers finished the season at 17-10, while Wooster moved to 23-4 and faces Wittenberg in tomorrow's championship game.

Wooster quickly got out to a 17-4 lead after a 10-0 run in a stretch of just 1:25. The Fighting Scots scored the final four points of the half and went to the intermission with a 44-21 advantage.

The Tigers got no closer than 17 during the second half.

Nick Felke paced DePauw with 13 points and three assists, while Nolan Ginther added 11 points and Josh Hall grabbed eight rebounds. 

Danyon Hempy paced Wooster with 24 points and four assists with Reece Dupler adding 15. Eric Bulic posted a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds and Keonn Scott added 11 points.

Wooster shot 51.7 percent from the floor to DePauw's 29 percent and held a 41-35 edge on the boards.
