DePauw Falls at #10 WashU

St. Louis, Mo. - DePauw opened the dual meet portion of its schedule with a 162-106 loss at 10th-ranked WashU.

Katherine Douglas won one-meter diving with 233.20 points, while Emily Thompson was the top finisher in the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.52) and Rachel Graves second (5:24.24). Thompson was third in the 200 butterfly (2:15.76) as was Graves in the 200 free (2:00.77).

Ali Tallen posted the second-fastest tim in the 100 fly but collected nine points with the Bears swimming exhibition in the event. Alyssa Luarde picked up nine points in the 400 individual medley in 5:09.20 and the 400 free relay of Graves, Ashley Dapore, Tallen and Sammie Waples scored 11 in 3:48.25.

DePauw travels to Elkhart, Ind., next Saturday where it'll take on Bethel and Indiana Wesleyan at 2 p.m.
