DePauw Finishes Seventh at Indiana Intercollegiates

West Lafayette, Ind. - DePauw totaled 84.0 points and finished seventh among 10 schools at the Indiana Intercollegiates, hosted by Purdue. The host Boilermakers won with 661.5 points and Ball State was second with 492.5.

DePauw's 200-yard medley relay of Seth Fagen, Xavier Fuller, Ian Longan and Matt Wilson opened the meet in sixth in 1:38.86.

Ben Hilfinger was 10th in the 100 butterfly in 53.60 seconds and 16th in the 200 freestyle (1:48.02). Joel Orloff also scored in a pair of events after placing 12th in the 100 free (49.19) and 15th in the 50 free (22.66) as did Seth Fagen with a 14th in the 100 individual medley (57.17) and a 15th in the 100 free (50.29).

Also scoring for the Tigers were Charlie Stewart-Bates in the 200 free (1:47.51/14th). Ian Longan in the 100 IM (57.28/15th) and Will Serf in the 100 free (50.34/16th).

DePauw's 200 free relay of Hilfinger, Serf, Orloff and Ryan Smith wrapped up the meet in eighth in 1:29.66.

The Tigers return to action on October 26 with a dual meet at WashU.
