Tigers Finish Sixth at Rose-Hulman

Terre Haute, Ind. - Paced by Callaway Bird's second-place finish in the mile, DePauw totaled 36 points and finished sixth at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 165.33 points and Millikin was second with 100.

Bird turned in the top mile time by finishing in 4:25.99, while Michael Ocasek was fifth in the event in 4:32.28.

Tyler Nemeth placed third in the pole vault (4.12m/13-6.25), while Chase Wright was fifth in the 60 meters (7.19) and sixth in the 200 meters (23.39).

Luke Patty turned in a fourth in the 200 meters (23.30) as did Spencer Miller in the 3,000 meters (9:11.47). Miles Main was eighth in the 3,000 (9:18.08).

DePauw returns to action on Friday, February 1, when it hosts the Tiger mall College Indoor Invitational.
