DePauw Now 2-1 Following Win at Rose-Hulman

Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw collected wins in 14 events and moved to 2-1 on the season following a 216-58 win at Rose-Hulman.

Diver Katherine Douglas broke her own school record on the 1-meter board by totaling 442.0 points and notched her second NCAA qualifying score to earn a spot in the NCAA Diving Regional.

Four Tigers picked up two wins apiece including Ali Tallen (1000-yard freestyle, 11:16.54; 50 butterfly, 27.21), Rachel Graves (200 free, 2:01.53; 50 free, 26.13), Sammie Waples (100 breaststroke, 1:11.72; 50 breast, 33.55) and Ashley Dapore (500 free, 5:31.11; 200 individual medley, 2:19.36).

Other wins were turned in by Allison Lund (50 back, 26.68), Nuna Bamatraf (100 fly, 1:02.48) and Molly Ruggles (100 back, 1:03.02).

The 200 medley relay of Ruggles, Mary Woods, Dapore and Waples won in 1:54.07 as did the 200 free relay of Waples, Lund, Tallen and Woods in 1:42.73.

Tomorrow's home meet with Hillsdale has been canceled and the Tigers return to action at home on Saturday, January 19, when they entertain Franklin.
