DePauw Moves to 2-1 after Win at Rose-Hulman

Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw picked up firsts in 10 events and moved to 2-1 on the season following a 164-116 win at Rose-Hulman.

Adam Pircon won two individual events as he touched first in the 100-yard backstroke (52.89) and the 100 freestyle (48.00) as did Tommy Hackley in the 200 free (1:44.86) and in the 500 free (4:40.50).

Also collecting wins were Charlie Stewart-Bates (1000 free; 9:58.42), Josh McCown (200 butterfly; 2:00.23), Seth Fagen (200 backstroke; 1:58.89) and Ian Longan (100 fly; 52.98).

The Tigers also won both relays as Pircon, Xavier Fuller, Longan and Jake Frech opened the meet with a first in the 200 medley relay in 1:37.87 and the 400 free relay of Hackley, Will Serf, Pircon and Frech closed the competition with a win in 3:12.86.

DePauw hosts Franklin on Saturday, January 19, at 1 p.m.
