La Crosse, Wis. - DePauw's Samuel Voelz broke his own school record in the 800 meters and qualified for tomorrow's finals at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships.

In this evening's prelims, which were delayed three hours due to weather, Voelz posted a time of 1:50.80 which was the third-fastest in his heat and seventh overall and good enough for a spot in tomorrow's finals.

The 800-meter finals are slated for 1:50 p.m. CDT, while Polo Burguete will compete in the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. CDT.
