Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's six-game win streak and its hold on first place in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings came to an end as Wittenberg swept the Tigers by scores of 7-5 and 8-4. DePauw dropped to 14-17 overall and 8-2 in the NCAC, while Wittenberg improved to 15-15 overall and 7-1 in the conference.

In the opener, DePauw grabbed a 1-0 lead in the third as Kaylyn Linder singed and advanced to second before scoring on Becca St. Germain's single. Lauren Buelow's run-scoring double in the fourth evened the score and Elise Freeland's two-run single made it 3-1 in favor of the visiting Tigers.

DePauw regained the lead in the bottom of the fourth as Alyssa Nowak scored on a wild pitch before Jordyn Fera plated Abey Bass with a sacrifice bunt. Fera then came home on Lauren Godden's single and Sidney Holler was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give DePauw a 5-2 lead.

Wittenberg regained the lead in the fifth as it scored four starting with Alex Gibson's single that scored Elaina Adams followed by Katy Baumgartner's double that brought home Elyssa Labine. Buelow followed with a sacrifice fly and Freeland singled home Baumgartner.

St. Germain, Liz Getz and Nowak each had two of DePauw's 10 hits, while Freeland, Abby Curnutte, Baumgartner and Buelow each had two of Wittenberg's 12 hits.

Emma Baldwin dropped to 5-8 with the loss in relief of Brooke Bandy, while Chelsea Zang improved to 4-6.

In the nightcap, Victoria Toetz's single in the first scored Rachel Black and gave Wittenberg a 1-0 lead. Getz led off the DePauw first with a bunt single. She then stole second and advanced to third and home on a pair of throwing errors.

Wittenberg took advantage of three straight DePauw walks and scored five times in the second for a 6-2 lead. St. Germain's single in the third scored Linder and cut the guests' lead to 6-3.

Toetz's double in the sixth scored two and extended Wittenberg's lead to 8-4 before Bekka Roberts delivered a sacrifice fly scoring Mina Shaw in the sixth. The game ended after six innings due to darkness.

St. Germain had two of DePauw's five hits, while Black, Curnutte, Toetz and Baumgartner each had two of Wittenberg's 10 hits.
