DePauw Tops Wildcats to Even Mark at 1-1; Douglas Breaks School One-Meter Mark

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw evened its record at 1-1 after topping Indiana Wesleyan, 174-97, at Erdmann Natatorium.

The Tigers opened the meet with a win in the 400-yard medley relay as Ali Tallen, Mary Woods, Molly Ruggles and Olivia Neff took first in 4:08.10.

Tallen collected a pair of wins after touching first in the 100 back (59.48) and the 100 butterfly (1:00.41).

Diver Katherine Douglas notched a regional qualifying score in one-meter diving with a total of 408.8 points for 11 dives which also broke the school mark held by Charee Campbell from 1996.

Other DePauw winners included Riley Steffey (1650 free; 18:57.55), Neff (200 free; 2:01.51), Nuna Bamatraf (100 breast; 1:11.06), Alyssa Luarde (200 breast; 2:40.83) and Maddie Dixon (500 free; 5:36.37).

DePauw's 400 free relay of Allison Lund, Sammie Waples, Tallen and Neff swam exhibition in a time of 3:44.89.

The Tigers return to action, Nov. 16-18 at the Wabash Invitational at Crawforsville High School.
