DePauw Heads to Final Day of Wabash Invitational in Fourth Place

Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw heads into the final day of the Wabash Invitational with 1,265 points and in fourth place. Saginaw Valley State leads with 1,531.5 followed by Birmingham-Southern (1,477) and Albion (1,344).

Olivia Neff turned in a second-place performance in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.42), while Ali Tallen finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly (58.46/58.09 prelim) and fifth in the 100 backstroke (59.74/58.71 prelim). Also in the 100 fly, Molly Ruggles was ninth (1:00.65/59.78 prelim) and Mary Woods 10th (1:01.43/59.32 prelim). Lund was seventh in the 100 back (1:00.10/59.15 prelim) and Julia Keller ninth (1:00.97).

Woods was sixth in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.42/1:07.65 prelim) followed by Nuna Bamatraf in seventh (1:08.58/1:07.31) and Sammie Waples in eighth (1:08.65).

DePauw's 800 free relay of Waples, Tallen, Ashley Dapore and Neff was third in 7:52.32.

Competition wraps up with Sunday's prelims and finals.
