DePauw Collects Seventh Straight Win; Keeps Pace in NCAC Race

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 11-7 overall and 4-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-11) win over Allegheny. The Gators dropped to 5-17 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

The Tigers scored the match's first six points and never trailed on the way to their seventh straight victory.

DePauw recorded 45 kills to the Gators' 12 and held a .313-(-.063) hitting percentage advantage. The Tigers also held an 11-1 edge in aces and 59-33 in digs. 

Suzanne Perters, who was recognized prior to the match as DePauw's lone senior, totaled 16 kills and hit .500, while Morgan Stearley added 11 kills and a .429 attack percentage.

Ally Low had a team-high 24 assists with Jenna Purichia recorded four aces and Stearley three. Stearley also led with 15 digs with Meaghan Etling totaling three block assists.

DePauw hosts Kenyon at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13.
