WashU Tops DePauw in Battle of Top 25 Teams

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 23rd in Division III, won five events but 10th-ranked WashU topped the Tigers 176-98. 

Tommy Hackley picked up a pair of firsts for the Tigers in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:35.97) and the 500 free (4:47.03). Other winners included Adam Pircon in the 200 backstroke (1:55.44) and Ben Hilfinger in the 400 individual medley (4:18.92).

The Tigers' 200 free relay of Alex Rodgers, Pircon, Kellen Bachler and Jake Frech won in 1:27.78.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, November 2, with a 6:30 p.m. dual meet at Wabash.
