DePauw Moves to 16-8 with Fourth Straight Win

St. Louis, Mo. - After a tight first set, DePauw pulled away from Wartburg for a 3-0 (26-24, 25-12, 25-11) win at the WashU Baden Invite. DePauw moved to 16-8, while the Knights dropped to 15-10.

The Tigers outhit Wartburg, .306-.071 including .326 in the second set and .478 in the third. 

Suzanne Peters led the Tigers with 17 kills, while Morgan Stearley added 12. DePauw held a 50-23 edge in kills with Ally Low assisting on 32. The Tigers also led in digs, 67-49.

Jenna Purichia led the way with 18 digs and two service aces, while Corri Rusk totaled two blocks including one solo.

DePauw returns to action tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. CDT against Aurora before facing Texas-Dallas at 11:30 a.m. CDT.
