Tigers Sustain Overtime Loss to Ladies

Greencastle, Ind. - Kenyon took advantage of its only corner kick of the game and converted it into the game-winning goal in the 97th minute of a 2-1 North Coast Athletic Conference win at DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 4-10-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the NCAC, while the Ladies improved to 6-5-3 overall and 2-2-2 in NCAC play.

The teams battled through a scoreless 82 minutes before Shalil Kumar broke through for the Tigers with a shot from the left side of the goal after taking a pass from the right from Natalie Kelley at 82:23.

Kenyon countered at 85:07 on Olivia Dixon's unassisted goal.

At 96:13, Caroline McNeer found Maia Emden with the corner and Emden struck the game winner from beyond the top of the box.

DePauw outshot Kenyon, 19-8, including 8-4 in shots on goal. The Tigers led in corners, 9-1.

The Tigers' Mia Manney recorded two saves in goals, while Jillian Coutey had seven stops for Kenyon.
