Kenyon's First-Half Goal Enough in Win over Tigers

Greencastle, Ind. - Kenyon's Tara Shetty scored with 11:06 left in the first half and it held up in a 1-0 North Coast Athletic Conference win at DePauw. DePauw dropped to 7-7 overall and 5-5 in the NCAC, while the Ladies improved to 8-5 overall and 7-3 in the conference.

Shetty's goal came on an assist from Gigi Guenther and was one just two first-half shots for the Ladies.

DePauw outshot Kenyon, 14-6 and held an 8-3 edge in shots on goal. The Tigers also led in penalty corners, 9-4.

Allie Duranceau recorded two saves in goal for DePauw, while Suzy Deems had eight for Kenyon.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, October 17, at Concordia Wisconsin.
