Tigers Finish Third at Rose-Hulman

Terre Haute, Ind. - Backed by a pair of individual wins, DePauw totaled 70 points and finished third at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 229 points, while Campbellsville was second with 123.

Leading the way were Cole Martin who won the mile in 4:30.06 and Polo Burguete crossed first in the 3,000-meter run in 8:56.85.

Satchel Oskins posted a third-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.04 seconds and was fourth in the 200 meters in 23.94. Chase Wright was third in the 60-meter dash in 7.26 seconds and the 200 meters in 23.88.

Tyler Nemeth turned in a fourth-place performance in the pole vault at 3.94 meters/12-11, while Johnny Miller was fifth in the 200 meters (24.20) and Nick Meszaros fifth in the 3,000 meters (9:02.22).

Rounding out DePauw's individual scorers were Pierce Sheehan in the mile (6th/4:38.13), Jordan Booker in the 60 meters (7th/7.49), Kyle Munz in the 3,000 meters (7th/9:08.81) and Nate Baker in the weight throw (7th/14.17m, 46-6).

The Tigers' 4x200 relay was fourth in 1:35.15.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, February 2, when it hosts the Tigers Small College Invitational.
