Tigers Finish Second at Rose-Hulman Early Bird

Terre Haute, Ind. - Led by two firsts, DePauw totaled 111 points and finished second at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird. Rose-Hulman won with 272 points.

Jordan Booker picked up a win in the 200 meters (22.82) and Paul Christian led the 5,000-meter field (15:16.03). Booker also was fourth in the high jump (1.80m/5-10.75). 

Johnny Miller was second in the 400 meters (51.38) as was Kyle Munz in the 3000 steeplechase (10:24.98) and Demarco Henry in the discus (43.60m/143-0).

Chase Wright turned in a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 meters (11.13) and 200 meters (23.11). Luke Patty was fourth in the 200 (23.17) as the Tigers took three of the top four spots.

Zach Batt was third in the 5,000 meters (15:28.67), while Cameron Stewart was fourth in the 110 hurdles (16.22) as was Tyler Nemeth in the pole vault (3.62m/11-10.5) and Nate Baker in the hammer throw (45.58m/149-6).

The Tigers' 4x100 relay was second in 43.69 seconds.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, April 1 at the Centre Invitational.
